Purpose: This is a collaborative template to help you and your children create a family media plan together. The goal is to make a plan that feels fair to everyone and helps you all stay connected and safe. Sit down as a family and fill this out together!

Section 2: Our Online Safety Rules 🛡️
- We will always be kind online. We will not say things we wouldn’t say to someone’s face.
- We will keep our private information private. This includes our full name, address, school, and passwords.
- If we see anything that makes us feel uncomfortable, weird, or sad, we will tell a trusted adult immediately. We know we will not get in trouble for telling.
Section 3: Our Digital Citizenship Pledge 🌍
- As a family, we will try our best to be (choose one):
- Upstanders: If we see someone being unkind online, we will help them or tell an adult.
- Digital Detectives: We will ask questions about what we see online and not believe everything.
- Kind Communicators: We will use technology to support our friends and family.
Section 4: What Happens If We Forget the Rules?
This isn’t a punishment, but a “reset” to help us get back on track.
- If one of us forgets a rule, the logical consequence we agree on is: * Example: Losing device privileges for the next hour.
