Poland Coordinator

The GratoSfera Foundation is a leading Polish organisation dedicated to transforming educational and community spaces through the power of free play, creativity, and relational pedagogy. Known for pioneering the GratoSfera loose parts play model in Gdańsk—now implemented in 29 schools and reaching over 10,000 children—the foundation works at the intersection of child development, adult education, and social wellbeing.

GratoSfera introduces innovative approaches that help adults understand the importance of children’s autonomy, curiosity, and imagination, while also supporting parents and educators in building emotional resilience and reflective practice. The organisation leads international Erasmus+ projects such as Move and Play the Stress AwayPlayful Parents, and Loose Parts Play, bringing together research, community engagement, and highly practical tools.

In Playful Parents, GratoSfera contributes its deep expertise in free play, mental health prevention, and relational methodologies. The foundation develops training materials, supports curriculum design, leads dissemination, and ensures that playful parenthood is approached with authenticity, empathy, and evidence-based insight.

The Rogers Foundation is a well-established Hungarian organisation specialising in person-centred education, emotional literacy, creativity, and inclusive learning environments. With decades of experience in implementing innovative pedagogical methods across Europe, the foundation has coordinated numerous Erasmus+ projects—such as CAPS, VIPER, Loose Parts, ARTPAD, Becoming Parents, Playful Paths, and KITE.

Grounded in Carl Rogers’ humanistic philosophy, the foundation focuses on empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard—values deeply aligned with the goals of Playful Parents. Their work spans parental education, teacher training, support for vulnerable groups, artistic and symbolic methods (such as symbolwork and folktale therapy), and the development of tools that strengthen emotional resilience.

Within Playful Parents, the Rogers Foundation serves as the project coordinator, overseeing project design, intellectual outputs, quality standards, and partner collaboration. Their expertise in emotional intelligence, creative methodologies, and family-oriented programming forms a strong backbone for the conceptual and methodological framework of the project.

ACTIVE CITIZENS PARTNERSHIP
Greece Partner

Active Citizens Partnership is a Greek organisation dedicated to strengthening communities through education, social empowerment, inclusion, and capacity-building. ACP works with diverse groups—including families, educators, young people, migrants, women, and vulnerable populations—to promote equality, well-being, and active participation in society.

The organisation specialises in designing and delivering high-quality training programmes, community workshops, and digital learning tools. Their experience includes European projects connected to parenting, emotional support, gender equality, and youth empowerment. ACP is known for its practical, human-centred approach that prioritises empathy, accessibility, and culturally sensitive methods.

In Playful Parents, ACP contributes expertise in adult education, counselling approaches, and community engagement. They support the development of training materials, lead local pilot activities, and ensure that the project’s methodology is accessible to diverse learners. Their work strengthens the project’s reach across different cultural and social contexts, ensuring that playful parenting becomes relevant and supportive for families across Europe.
